I am a Northern Illinois–based artist working primarily in soft pastel and oil. My work focuses on preserving the fleeting and beautiful moments that shape our lives—the small glimmers that stay with us long after they pass.

Through large-scale portraits, precious pet commissions, and vibrant natural landscapes, I create paintings that transform personal memories into lasting visual heirlooms. Each piece is designed to hold emotional presence: the spirit of an animal, the personality within a portrait, or the stillness of a landscape that once made you instantly feel calm and at peace.

Working in soft pastel allows me to build luminous layers of pure pigment, creating rich color, depth, and texture. I am especially drawn to subjects with strong presence and symbolism—people, animals, expansive natural scenes, and buffalos- oddly enough.

My goal is to create paintings that become part of a family’s story—pieces that preserve memory, emotions, and connection for generations. Today, my work lives in private collections where color, story, and meaning matter deeply.

Each original painting is created with archival materials and is accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity.
